M'Ress is, the Chief of Communications aboard the USS Saratoga which Kirk commands in my AU Abramsverse A New Start verse.

Those who are fans of the Prime verse may also recognize her as Communications officer aboard the Star Trek Animated Series.
HISTORY
M'Ress was born on Cait to M'Mar and M'Nault.
She has two brothers, M'Rest and M'Sitt and one younger sister, M'Nass
She entered Starfleet Academy at the age of 17 in 2250
She graduated in the upper tier of her class in 2254.
Upon graduation in 2254 she was assigned to the USS Boreas (Hermes class)
In 2258 she was promoted to full Lietenant and transferred to the Saratoga.
SKILLS
She's highly intelligent, fascinated with other cultures and always studying new languages.
She also has interests in sociology, anthropology, poetry and acting.
PERSONALITY
M'Ress is very cooperative and fiercely loyal.
Mild tempered, tactful and warm she always works to soothe conflict and is regarded as unofficial ambassador/diplomat of the Saratoga.
