Tkara Prime, I, II

This is Tkara, home of the Tkarites, a species in my AU Star Trek New Start, verse.

It is located in the Droyana System in the Norayis Sector of the Alpha Quadrant.
 

TKARA PPRIME
Tkara Prime is a ringed gas dwarf slightly larger than Earth.

TKARA I
Tkara Is slightly larger than earth and is the birthworld of the Tkarites.



It has two landmasses:
Varasee in the west
Nolantiel in the east

The planet is mainly temperate with tropical and arctic zones.
It has plains, hills, forests, jungles and mountain ranges.
The planet is known for its mysterious provocative beauty.

TKARA II
Tkara II is slightly smaller than Tkara I. 
The Tkarties first begin to colonize it during the 17^th century, shortly after they achieve space flight.


TKARITES
The Tkarites are known for their beauty, their seductiveness and, above all, their cunning.
They call themselves ‘The People of the Blade’ and with good reason.


They are the rulers of the powerful Tkarite Freehold
They have colonized the Vornel System and  have formed an alliance with their neighbors in the C'Tek and Iskan System
creating the formidable Norayis Alliance .
They have friendly relations with the United Federation of Planets and extensive trade ties with them.

The Saratoga has concluded its three week stay on the planet Astrana. This was a productive mission; we studied a beautiful new world, made a successful First Contact, learned many things about an incredible culture and made new friends, both for ourselves and the Federation.
We are now on-route to the Tolanis Cluster. After three weeks of acting as a planetary research station I know that the chance to study a unique collection of stars will please Stellar Sciences.
