This is a room in a bath house on on the planet Tkara, a world which exists in my AU Star Trek New Start verse.

Vantar led them to another lift that opened to reveal a huge room with a vast indoor swimming pool, three times the size of one normally found on Earth. It was surrounded with exotic fountains. Everywhere there were trees and plants and soft music played over speakers.

Surrounding the main pool were several small heated pools. There were also several rooms which, Vantar explained, contained changing rooms, private showers and baths. Each of which had locks for privacy. There was also a corridor that led to a massage parlor.

There were about thirty five other guests in the main room; a few Tkarites and several from various different species. All of them either swimming, soaking or lounging in the various pool chairs.

"I'll leave you now to enjoy yourselves, Vantar said. "My sister, of course will be with you, but if you need any further assistance simply ask one of the Attendants. They had noticed that there were  pairs of male and female attendants inconspicuously standing at the main entry ways to the room.

NOTES
A Tkarite Bath is a combination bath, swimming pool, spa and sauna.
Every city has several such Baths and all are very popular. 
Each one is a huge lavish structure with several floors and rooms and many call them Bath Palaces.

The one in this pic is the Inare is the largest and most luxurious Bath in the city of Sivaraya

The Saratoga has concluded its three week stay on the planet Astrana. This was a productive mission; we studied
a beautiful new world, made a successful First Contact, learned many things about an incredible culture and made
new friends, both for ourselves and the Federation.
We are now on-route to the Tolanis Cluster. After three weeks of acting as a planetary research station I know that
the chance to study a unique collection of stars will please Stellar Sciences.

Kirk completed his log and sat back. Things were quiet now and he'd decided to use the remaining hours
of his shift to catch up on reports and there were a lot. The Saratoga was six months along into its
five year mission of circumnavigating Federation space. In that time there had been a lot of triumphs and
a lot of tragedies.
The past two months had been a whirlwind of act
